Offshore Geotechnical Investigation

MS Geotech conducts detailed offshore geotechnical investigations to support the design, engineering, and installation of proposed projects. Our experienced team of geologists and engineers analyze data gathered offshore and in laboratories for precise foundation design and engineering analysis. Utilizing boreholes, vibrocoring, jet probing, gravity coring, grab sampling, and Niskin water sampling, we integrate this data with desktop studies and geophysical data to deliver comprehensive reports for project suitability.

Vibrocoring Analysis
Collects core samples from unconsolidated materials using a vibrating tube, essential for mineral searches.
Jet Probing
Obtains information on surficial sediment thickness, powered by air or water pressure through a pipe
Gravity Corer
Samples sediment layers at the bottom of water bodies, utilizing gravity to reach the seabed
Grab Sampler
Collects surface samples from water bodies for laboratory analysis, also known as spot sampling
Water Sampling by Niskin
Uses a specialized device to collect water samples at various depths for detailed analysis
